John A Klepacki, CDT
Born in Germany and raised in Chicago, IL, John started working in the medical field at age 15 at Mount Sinai Hospital. He then joined the U S Navy, served a tour of duty in Vietnam earning a Bronze Star and an Honorable Discharge. Upon returning home his love of medicine and art gravitated him to work as a dental technician. After a long period of training, including the LD Pankey Institute, Klepacki Dental Laboratory was established and in 1977, incorporated.
In 1991 an insatiable curiosity led to the award of a Methods Patent in using polymers as a carrier to color dental restorations. A dedication to continuing education has been key to KDL’s ongoing reputation for quality and dependability. In 1992 he was invited to participate as an investigator in research for a major implant company.
John moved the laboratory to Arizona in 1995 and has continued to be active in state and community organizations, including having served as the president of the Arizona Laboratory Association in 2000 and 2001. He and son Anthony provide ongoing dental laboratory services to discriminating clients in the US and abroad.
During his free time John enjoys Arizona’s great out-of-doors, racquetball and spending time with his new grandchildren, Marcus and Jewel.
